OHS vs Tuscarora
Tonight's game was held at Tuscarora High School. It was a packed gym with a playoff atmosphere. It was hard to hear at times with both student sections being vocal. It was a very close game throughout the evening. During the 1st quarter the Titans played fast paced defense and out shot the Bears 14-10. The 2nd quarter was in favor of the Bears, but the Titans hit a big 3 at the buzzer which brought the Titans within 1 at half. (23-22). The whole 3rd quarter was back and forth with several led changes. At the end of the 3rd quarter the Titans had a 3 point led. The 4th quarter was more of the same with intense offensive and defensive plays. The Bears failed to connect on enough free throws to maintain the led. With the score 50-49, a THS player missed a free throw and a OHS player grabbed the rebound and took a shot with 2 seconds to go to take the lead, however the shot fell short and the ball went out of bounds and Tuscarora gained possession. FINAL: THS 50 - OHS 49
