OHS vs Middletown (playoff game)

Tonight the Bears played in their first playoff game against Middletown High School. It was back and forth during the 1st quarter, but then the Bears outscored MHS the rest of the game. The Bears played terrific defense and played with a lot of energy. Final Score: OHS 58- MHS 41  GO BEARS!!!
The Bears now move into the 2A West Semi-Final game at South Carroll on Thursday, March 1st at 7:00 p.m.

The first playoff game is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28th at 7:00 p.m. The Bears will be playing at home against Middletown High School. GO BEARS!!!!!!

OHS vs Century

Tonight the Bears traveled to Century High School for their final regular season game. The Bears led the game at the end of the 1st quarter 13-12. Century outscored the Bears 9-18 in the 2nd. The Bears couldn't close the gap in the 2nd half. Final Score: OHS 53-Century 69

The playoff draw is scheduled for Sunday, February 19 @ 10:00 a.m. I will display the results as soon as the draw is made.

OHS vs South Hagerstown

Tonight Oakdale played a very good South Hagerstown team. The Bears held a one point lead at half. South Hagerstown came out strong in the 3rd quarter taking a 14 point lead at the end of the 3rd. The Bears fought hard but couldn't close the gap. Final Score: OHS 52- SH 73  The next game is scheduled for Friday night at Century High School.  25 ALIVE COVERAGE

OHS vs Middletown

Tonight the Bears were visiting the Middletown Knights. The game started with the Bears taking a strong lead 20-8 at the end of the first quarter and 30-19 at half.  The Bears played very well tonight as a team, scoring 14 for 17 from the line, shooting 72%  from 2's, playing tough defense, 4 players scored in double figures, and all players played in the game tonight. The final score: OHS 68-MHS 46. The next game is scheduled for Wednesday night at South Hagerstown High School. GO BEARS!!!

OHS vs Tuscarora HS

                Tonight's game was a very exciting game all around. Tuscarora came into the game highly ranked in the area and the Bears took on the challenge. At half-time the Bears had a 10 point lead. However, Tuscarora came out regained the lead in the 3rd quarter. The Bears played very well down the stretch against Tuscarora's pressure defense. Our guys continued to play extremely strong together in the 4th quarter and held on to a comfortable lead. The final score was OHS 63- THS 49. Thank you so much to all the OHS fans that came out tonight to support the

Spirit Night - Tuesday

Hey Basketball Fans!!!!!
Mark your calendar for Tuesday night, when the Bears will play in their last regular season home game. It will be Spirit Night at Oakdale High School. So wear your OHS spirit wear, sun glasses, face paint, bear hats, and your Silver and Black. We need to pack the Bear den!!!  GO BEARS!!!

OHS vs Frederick

Tonight the Bears played at Frederick High School. The game started out very aggressive. The Bears had a tough 2nd quarter and only scored 4 points. They had to play catch up the rest of the game and cut the Cadets lead to 4 with a minute and half to go but couldn't get any closer. Final Score: OHS 56- FHS 64
The next game is scheduled for Tuesday at home. It's the final regular season home game of the season. The Bears will be playing against Tuscarora High School. GO BEARS!!

OHS vs Walkersville

Tonight was "Sink Pink" Night at Oakdale High School. Everyone was dressed in Pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Our team played at home against Walkersville High School. The Bears played very tough defense tonight holding the Lions to 8 points in the 1st quarter (17-8). The Bears continued to play hard and at a fast pace beating the Lions 65-52. Thank you to all the fans that showed up in pink tonight to support Breast Cancer Awareness and to support our Bears. GO BEARS!!!
The next game is scheduled for Friday night away at Frederick High.
