The Oakdale Bears had an amazing season, it was capped off with a thrilling DOUBLE OVERTIME State Semi-Final Game vs Edmondson/Westside. Edmondson/Westside was the #1 Ranked 2A School in the State of Maryland. The game featured many ties and lead changes throughout the game. The Bears out rebounded the taller Edmondson players and they were fearless tonight. In the last few minutes of regulation and both overtimes Edmondson went into a stall offense and held the ball until the final seconds. The Bears fell short on the scoreboard, however many people in attendance felt that Oakdale outplayed Edmondson. We want to thank all the fans, students, parents, friends, and community for all their support during the season and for coming out tonight to support the team. Our fan section tonight had to be one of the biggest fan sections for a Maryland State High School Boys Basketball game at Comcast. Thanks Bear Fans!!
