The Bears played at home this evening against Tuscarora High School. Everyone was wearing Blue in the Bears Den tonight honoring Coach Ben Wright. He was a great football coach and a great guy. Coach Wright passed away yesterday after a 18 year battle with cancer. He will truly be missed. #BWstrong
The game was a very physical and fast paced. The Titans took an early lead in the first quarter outscoring the Bears 17-13. The Titans hit a big 3 pointer at the end of the half which increased their lead to 8. Both teams battled back in forth and their were 38 fouls called in the game so their were a lot of free throws to be taken. The Titans shot 13 out of 15 free throws in the 4th quarter and ended up 17 for 22 for the game. The Bears ended up 18 for 28 from the line which made the difference in the game. The next game is scheduled for Tuesday against Thomas Johnson High School (Home Game).
